A successful team means having persons who you can work alongside and trust when in difficult situations. A lifeboat crew such as Invergordon's and like many others around the coast of mainland Britian is vital when saving lives at sea.

There is a range of age and experience amongst the crew but they are all committed to serving the station to save lives at sea. Many of the crew work in and around the Invergordon and all live within a couple of miles of the station. A major proportion of the crew have a seafaring background though there are some without any previous maritime experience.
